£40p/h Umbrella
6 month initial contract
One day per week remote working

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to take on a critical role managing the full lifecycle of Disrepair Claims. This role covers everything from claim acknowledgement to survey completion, reporting, contractor management, and final sign-off.
Exceptional customer service, strong defect diagnosis skills, and in-depth knowledge of damp and mould issues are essential.
 
Key Responsibilities
·Disrepair Claims Management: Lead end-to-end management of disrepair cases, including conducting surveys, preparing reports and schedules, overseeing contractor work, and ensuring completion to a high standard.
·Maintain proactive engagement with residents, providing support, advice, and interventions for effective property maintenance, timely repairs, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
·Conduct inspections of void and tenanted properties, prepare work specifications, and oversee contractors to meet service standards.
·Ensure all work adheres to statutory requirements, including compliance with health and safety, building regulations, and council policies.
 
Qualifications and Skills Required
·UK Resident
·Minimum 2 years experience working within public sector
·Experience in disrepair survey management with a focus on customer service.
·HNC/professional qualification in building construction related field and/or related qualification and an additional 2 years post qualification experience of capital contracts and project management  or considerable experience (5 Years +) in a similar role
·Strong technical skills in building contract administration and maintenance services.
·Knowledge of relevant health & safety and statutory compliance practices, including asbestos awareness.
·Ability to use project management tools for monitoring and reporting on contractor performance and budget adherence.
