Reconciliations Assistant

Your new role
Hays are working with a firm in Central Bristol who are looking for a reconciliation assistant on a temporary basis for 2 months. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week. This role is hybrid working, 2-3 in the office. Pay for the role is £13.72 per hour. Duties include:
- Ensuring all bank statements are obtained and loaded into the system
- Investigating unmatched items and reporting breaches
- Following up with various finance teams to ensure postings are taken promptly and accurately
- Month end reporting of bank reconciliation figures
- Dealing with opening and closing of bank accounts and ensuring the system is updated
- Managing account payments by ensuring enough funds are available and client requirements are met
- 3-way-match reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in a similar role is necessary.
- Self-motivated, determined and confident in own abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- IT literate
