We do so by building technical solutions that have a direct impact on improving customer experience by making our processes safer, simpler and easier for thousands of Associates and front line managers. Our solutions vary from internal websites, low latency applications that run on devices and workstations in our Fulfillment Centres, IoT systems and optimization models.
Customer Fulfillment is a broad domain and our organization has a good degree of freedom regarding which projects to implement and the technologies to use.
In this team you will be able to work on brand new products, using the latest cloud technologies. We also partner with other global tech teams and work autonomously on their systems to improve existing capabilities or create new ones.
Exposure to both kind of projects will allow you to have an impact on how we delight our customers from click to delivery, while learning Amazon’s engineering best practices.
Key job responsibilities
• Own product strategy, feature design, and implementation across Europe for range of ACES products partnering with an in-house technical and program teams.
• Handle complex product development and business management scenarios while evaluating various trade-offs (time vs. effort vs. features)
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners. Develop metrics and KPIs to track impact.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple worldwide stakeholder (operations, tech, other product teams, finance, analytics, etc.) teams to deliver initiatives and features.
• Own business and product success metrics through coordination across technology, operations, and product stakeholders.
• Gather customer feedback on product and features to drive continuous improvement
• Gain a deep understanding of fulfillment operations, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience, operator productivity and drive growth.
About the team
The ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) team owns the standards for process, training, equipment, and building layout for Amazon’s European Fulfillment Centre network. We lead large scale programs that drive operational improvement and support other teams in Amazon to deliver improved solutions and expand the network.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree
- Experience blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities with experience using qualitative and quantitative skills to develop product/ program strategies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience owning technology products
