About the Role
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Reception teacher to join a primary school in Hailsham. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing a strong foundation for young learners, helping them to develop essential skills in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role requires a deep understanding of early year's pedagogy, and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in every child.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and deliver creative and engaging lesson plans aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Cultivate a positive, nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe and valued.
• Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their evolving needs.
• Work closely with colleagues and support staff to provide holistic learning experiences.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers, offering insights into their child's development.

What We're Looking For

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience in EYFS.
• A passion for early years education and a clear understanding of child development.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for providing rich learning experiences.
• The ability to work as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
