We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and oversee Enabling and Earthworks delivery under the Civil Works Alliance Agreement. You will direct critical early-stage civil engineering activities and ensure successful planning, design, and execution of key infrastructure components, preparing the site for a major construction projects!

Salary: £115,000 - £125,000

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and oversee Enabling and Earthworks delivery under the Civil Works Alliance Agreement. You will direct critical early-stage civil engineering activities and ensure successful planning, design, and execution of key infrastructure components, preparing the site for a major construction projects!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle delivery of Enabling and Earthworks, including bulk excavation, backfill, and early civil structures (e.g., sea defence, diaphragm walls).
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, time, and cost objectives.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and liaise with contractors, consultants, and advisors.
- Oversee contract management, cost control, risk, and project scheduling.
- Proven record in complex, regulated project delivery, ideally within nuclear or a similar sector.
- Experience of managing / influencing contractors, consultants and other advisors throughout large and complex construction projects.
- Proficient in scheduling, programming, risk, and earned value tools.
- Experience with multi-disciplinary projects and managing high-value contracts.
