Carmichaels are seeking a Sub Agent to work on a major highways project in Cambridgeshire

Responsibilities include

• Manage, supervise and mentor the site team to enable them to perform their duties effectively. 
• Generate temporary works design briefs, inspect and review designs, and raise technical queries to design teams.
• Produce and update lookahead programmes, record and communicate progress, and create detailed plans for your section.
• Maintain accurate site records, raise requisitions, ensure compliance with subcontract scopes and identify cost savings in your section. 
• Generate Inspection and Test Plans and manage material approvals. 
• Complete Health & Safety inspections and implement courses of action. 
• Identify and implement environmental awareness opportunities for your section. 

We're looking for: 

• Experience in Highways Technology and lighting installations, certification and handover.
• Experience in highways Barrier, Both steel and Concrete systems
• Knowledge and understanding of construction and contracts. 
• Health & Safety and Environmental Management training (SMSTS).
• White CSCS Card
