Due to company expansion my Derby based Client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HGV Mechanic to join their fleet mechanic teams
This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Mechanic to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company.
What you'll be doing;
• You will be responsible for the day to day service, MOT preparation and repairs of our HGV's.
• You will keep our HGV's safely on the road
• Responsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe.
• Repair and maintain the Fleet, 3rd party vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork, and time sheets are completed accurately.
• Attend roadside breakdowns when required.
Required for this HGV Mechanic role:
• Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
• HGV licence is an advantage
• Diagnostic experience
