The school is looking for a long term primary teaching assistant to support in primary. The school is looking for experience and relevant qualifications.

January 2025 start, this primary teaching assistant role is based at a progressive and wonderful Primary School in Ealing, and will allow you to get fully immersed within day-to-day life of a busy, vibrant Primary School; learning from experienced teachers every day.

Primary Teaching Assistant: Candidate Requirements

• Supporting primary students on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Full-time, long-term Primary Teaching Assistant role
• Pay: £500 per week, paid each Friday

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and whole-class support for pupils of all abilities, including some pupils who have SEN. You will work very closely with Class Teachers and be expected to confidently deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to drive up attainment levels within literacy and numeracy. You will monitor pupil progress and encourage social skills.

Primary Teaching Assistant: Job Requirements

• Strong subject knowledge within English and Maths
• A desire to inspire young people and unlock their learning potential
• Enthusiastic, confident and approachable personality
• Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils
• Ability to remain calm even in stressful situations
• Knowledge or previous experience working with children who have SEN is desirable
