Job Title: Manual Machinist

Salary: £16-£20 an hour
The Company:
We are currently looking to bring in a manual machinist to join out client in Widnes in the repair and manufacturing of industrial gearboxes, electric motors, pumps and more.
The Role:
A successful candidate will be working on the shop floor completing tasks such as:
- Boring
- Grinding
- Drilling
- Milling
- Fabricating
- Slotting
What you need:
- A strong mechanical engineering background
- Experience in manual machining tasks such as those highlighted above
- An eye for detail and ability to quality check ones own work
- The ability to read and work from technical drawing and specifications
- Knowledge of a range of hand tools and machines
