Tradewind Recruitment is seeking to appoint a KS1 Primary Teacher on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry school located in the borough of Croydon. This London-based primary school is looking for a qualified teacher to cover a Year 1 class for the remainder of the academic year. As the role starts early in the school year, it will involve some planning responsibilities.
About the role:
- Prepare and deliver engaging KS1 lessons
- Implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies
- Collaborate with the Classroom TA to ensure lessons are impactful and tailored to individual needs
- Differentiate learning materials to cater to all pupils
- Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to the school's development
Requirements:
- Must have UK-recognised QTS
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- A positive and ambitious approach to teaching
- A commitment to upholding and contributing to the school's ethos
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, children, and external agencies
- Must be available full-time and long-term from October
