Wasco UK is based in Hartlepool and specialises in protective coatings for oil and gas pipelines.  We are looking to appoint a Project Engineer reporting to Project Manager

Responsibilities of the role:

• Preparing of production schedules in line with client's requirements
• ensuring the approved procedures are implemented, distributed and maintained by all parties
• Ensuring all subordinates are adequately trained and qualified to satisfactorily perform their duties
• ensuring proper communication for receiving and discharging pipes with all applicable parties
• monitoring production and logistic activity against project scheduling and quality requirements
• preparing the BOM for specific projects and liaise with procurement department on placing order
• preparing the BOL for specific projects by efficiently utilizing all the resources
• ensuring effective use of the pipe tracking system (PTS)
• understanding the fundamentals of the HSE Management System and applying that information on a daily basis

The successful candidate will have a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent  You will be a team player, have excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise work load efficiently to minimise down time.
