Job Title: Retail Assistant
Location: PR5 0AD
Hours: Part-time, Permanent (18-20 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, including weekends
The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join Spar in Preston. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a retail environment, assisting customers, and keeping the store well-stocked and organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Stacking Shelves: Keep shelves fully stocked and well-presented, ensuring products are fresh and neatly arranged
- Operating the Till: Handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately, providing friendly service
- Customer Service: Assist shoppers with any queries and help them locate products around the store
- Maintaining Store Standards: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and meets health and safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service
- Reliability and flexibility to work shifts as needed, including weekends
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Previous retail experience is a plus but not required—we provide training
