PK Education are working with a welcoming primary school near South Kirkby to find a Reception Teacher to start in January 2024. This is a full-time, temporary role lasting for two full terms, with the opportunity to become a valued member of the school community.

About the Role:

As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons for young learners. You’ll play a key role in the class and will be expected to contribute to the wider school community by attending staff meetings, parents evenings, and school events. This position is ideal for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable experience or an experienced teacher seeking a fulfilling long-term temporary role.

What We’re Looking For:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

- Someone with experience and enthusiasm for teaching a reception class – where no 2 days are the same!

- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive and nurturing relationships with pupils.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Creativity and the ability to inspire and engage young learners.

- Commitment to providing a high standard of education for young children.

- ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply.
