Job Opportunity: Clerk of Works – Leading Consultancy - several locations available including Bristol, Oxford and Worcestershire and Birmingham!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of ongoing projects to ensure they meet all specified standards and requirements.
  • Identifying and reporting any issues in workmanship or materials to the Project Manager and Principal Contractor.
  • Compiling comprehensive reports and managing tasks using platforms such as Fieldview.
  • Keeping meticulous records of project progress, promptly highlighting any delays or problems.
  • Offering expert guidance to the Project Manager and resolving any queries related to project drawings and specifications.
  • Regular site visits to ensure services are delivered in accordance with building contract requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in cladding remediation or construction projects, particularly with high-risk buildings.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with professional bodies such as RICS, CIOB, or ICWCI.
  • Proficiency with modern technological tools, including tablets and Fieldview software.
  • Proximity to Worcestershire or Bristol is beneficial for ease of travel to various project sites.
