We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join our Estates Services team in Nottingham. This is a full-time role where you will provide significant technical expertise in mechanical and electrical services, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of essential infrastructure and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise on mechanical and electrical services within the Estates Services team.
  • Collaborate with Facilities and Operations Managers to implement and manage cost-effective maintenance contracts for specialist technical engineering services.
  • Ensure that core infrastructure, plant, and equipment are operating optimally to support business continuity.
  • Plan and deliver planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance in line with customer care, governance, safety, and quality standards.
  • Manage and oversee procurement and operation of planned maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  • Lead the delivery of capital projects related to mechanical and electrical services.
Person Specification:
  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical services, preferably in a facilities management or estates-related environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing maintenance contracts and capital projects.
  • Ability to work within budget, safety, and legislative guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external contractors.
