The below job description will outline this position of: Fitout Project Manager

Typically, this person will be leading a team of both permanent staff and contractors to install high end interiors on luxury yachts and commercial projects. This role will involve a lot of travelling to and from projects.

Duties and responsibilities of the Fitout Project Manager (Marine):

• Oversee and manage all phases of interior fitout projects for superyachts, ensuring delivery meets high-quality standards and client specifications.
• Coordinate with project teams, including designers, engineers, and craftsmen, to plan and execute fitout schedules and milestones.
• Ensure strict adherence to budgets and timelines, proactively addressing any delays or budgetary concerns.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor the quality of work, compliance with marine safety standards, and adherence to design plans.
• Collaborate closely with client representatives and project stakeholders to communicate progress, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
• Review and interpret detailed technical drawings, specifications, and materials to guide fitout operations.
• Identify and resolve design, technical, and logistical challenges during fitout stages, ensuring smooth and efficient project flow.
• Maintain a comprehensive record of project progress, including status reports, quality control documentation, and budget tracking.

Qualifications and requirement for the Fitout Project Manager (Marine):

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Interior Design, Marine Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Professional experience with CAD software or other design tools.
• Knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
• Confident in leading multi nationals teams both permanent and contractors.
• Must be able to travel because you will be required to work on a split between Dubai and Germany.
