Role IBA Operations Manager - Retail aka Head of IBA Operations Retail, Insurance Broking Account Operations Manager

Location North Nottinghamshire - Hybrid Office / Home

Salary - 50 - 60K 

Role Overview:
As the Retail IBA Operations Manager, you will oversee the Retail Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA) Operations Team, delivering exceptional service to our business and stakeholders while ensuring the IBA control environment complies with FCA CASS regulations. You will be responsible for the team's performance and will have a clear understanding of debtors, creditors, unallocated cash, uncollected brokerage, and funded amounts. Collaborating closely with internal and external parties, you will identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Retail IBA Operations Team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to FCA CASS regulations, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
Operational Oversight: Monitor and manage debtors, creditors, unallocated cash, uncollected brokerage, and funded amounts to optimize financial performance.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all relevant parties, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.What We’re Looking For:

Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of broking systems including Acturis, Websure, SSP, Epic, and TAM.
Qualifications: Accounting qualification.
Leadership Skills: Proven people management experience with a track record of leading successful teams.
Regulatory Knowledge: Clear understanding of FCA CASS regulations.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
