Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop in Poole, Dorset.

Salary - £42,000 DOE

Role Overview:

As a Vehicle Technician, in Poole, Dorset you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles. You will utilise your technical expertise and diagnostic skills to identify and rectify vehicle faults efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of light commercial vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

• Level 3 NVQ/IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician or a Mechanic.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving license.
