NPD Process Technologist - Artisan food manufacturer - Tortilla, sauces & salsa, hummus & pesto (NO MEAT)

DOE £35k - £42k + Benefits + Holiday Pay

Permanent contract  

Typical shifts; Day shifts – Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (some flexibility)

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an amazing artisan, manufacturer of high-end – Tortilla’s, sauces & salsa, hummus & pesto (NO MEAT)

Due to growth & contract wins and the creation of a new line of products, we are looking for an experienced Process Technologistwith a proven background in New Product Development

The successful Process Technologist duties will include;

• Analyse, design and implement process for new products manufactured by the business
• Create product manuals
• Create visual records of all processes & machines used in the manuals
• Arrange product reviews coordinating with sales, technical & senior management to ensure the products meet spec
• Create product passports
• Contribute to product launches
• Ensure all paperwork is completed
• Work to the departments SOPs
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the factory
• Work to the companies high standards at all times
• Work to health & safety policies

Required experience & characteristics;

• At least 1years experience as a Process Technologist with a focus on New Product Development
• Proven people management skills

• Experience of managing demand, workflow & supply

• Courteous, polite & professional
