Are you a costing professional with technical experience of the construction sector?

Do you want to join one of the UKs largest renewable companies offering progression in a fast growing industry?

This company specialises in the solar and renewable sector and have multiple revenue avenues both in the UK and Europe. They are now looking for a Cost Engineer to help drive continued growth plans.

This is a very varied role, but your main responsibilities will be to look after all pre construction costing processes, including but not limited to; cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting and cost control for a variety of renewable projects related to BESS and Solar PV. You will be dealing with a number of internal and external teams involved in these large projects.

This role would suit anyone looking to join a forwarding thinking business situated in the renewables sector, that are offering training and progression opportunities.

The Role
* Development of detailed cost estimates for HV or renewable projects
* Cover cost related deliverables for all phases of project lifecycle; concept, design, procurement, construction, commissioning.
* Budgeting, Cost Control, Forecasting and Reporting.

The Person
* Experience in a cost related role like Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineer or similar
* Degree in construction, engineering, finance or energy related fields
* Additional certifications in Cost Engineering or Project Management would be an advantage
