THE ROLE

As a Mid-Weight Optimisation Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the end-to-end A/B testing process within our digital commerce projects. Reporting to our Digital Commerce Leads, who oversee the overall program strategy. Aside from supporting our senior team members you will also work closely with Project Managers, Designers and Developers to produce A/B tests end-to-end through the production cycle, live phase, analysis of test performance and recommendations on next steps. 

TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with the Digital Commerce Lead to understand the objectives and strategic vision for the client roadmap. 
  • Assist in formulating and implementing A/B testing strategies and plans aligned with the client’s objectives. 
  • Oversee the entire A/B testing process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers to ensure successful creation of test variations. 
  • Utilise industry-leading tools and platforms to create and manage A/B tests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Defining KPIs / success metrics and measuring the holistic performance of each A/B Test. 
  • Conduct high-level monitoring and analysis of test performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for next steps. 

Requirements

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES 

  • Experience in a similar role with a focus on A/B Testing, Conversion Rate Optimisation or related disciplines.
  • A strong understanding of e-commerce sites and the digital commerce landscape is essential.
  • Familiarity with A/B Testing methodologies, tools, and platforms (eg. Optimizely, Monetate)
  • Experience with data analysis, GA4 and other analytics tools - particularly where this relates to the comparison of data eg. test variations and segments. 
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate ideas and present findings.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment. 
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
