Come join our team as a Health & Safety Trainer/Consultant, on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be situated in Essex, Surrey, or Kent or local to these areas. The candidate will boast a solid background in asbestos management or Health and Safety Management  and some experience in the petrol retail industry. However, fret not if you lack the latter, as we are willing to provide the necessary training in petroleum knowledge.

Job Summary:

As a full-time Health & Safety Trainer/Consultant, you'll be instrumental in delivering top-tier training and consultancy services. Your responsibilities will range from leading accredited courses to offering bespoke guidance, thereby shaping safety practices across diverse industry sectors. With a Monday to Friday schedule and occasional optional weekend flexibility, you'll enjoy a balanced workload with opportunities for travel within the UK. Paying up to £40,000 per annum.

Requirements

What will you be doing?

• Delivering accredited health and safety courses, including BOHS, IOSH, UKATA, and SPA Safety Passport courses

• Developing and updating course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness

• Conducting client HSSE accreditations/audits and provide comprehensive reports

• Offering consultancy visits to clients, assisting with health and safety documentation

• Performing unannounced site safety audits to uphold high standards

• Be an Advocate for the assessment and control of health, safety, and environmental risks within your role

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or Equivalent

• PTTLS or Level 3 Award in Education and Training

• Valid UK driving license
