CNC Miller Programmer/Setter

An established manufacturing company based in Birmingham require an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter.
The company presently have 11 XYZ milling machines (VMCs), both 3 and 4 Axis.
Duties:
- Working in a precision manufacturing machine shop environment working from 2D engineer drawings to machine a range of materials including various grades of brass and stainless steel.
- Programming, setting, and operating milling machines. (Ideally experience of working on XYZ machines with Siemen’s control)
Requirements:
- Experience in CNC milling – programming, setting and operating,
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good IT skills.
- Ideally apprentice trained, a time-served machinist with NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.
Hours:
- 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12.30pm Friday.
- Weekend overtime may be available.
This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
