Senior HR Manager
Bradford

We are excited to be exclusively partnering with a leading player in the manufacturing industry, committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainable practices. With a planned move into a purpose-built head office/manufacturing site on the outskirts of Bradford, this exciting opportunity is best suited to an individual who thrives both the operational support and strategic project design and delivery, all ensuring your part in helping to shape and foster a dynamic, inclusive workplace culture.
Working in a standalone role, supported by the leadership team and an external consultancy, you will take full responsibility to oversee all aspects of the HR function, whilst driving people plans forward. Based Bradford, with occasional travel to other sites, and offering remote working, (one day per week)
We are keen to hear from passionate and experienced HR Manager ready to elevate this organisations HR function, drive engagement and building on their positive culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
Partner with senior leadership to understand and execute the organisation’s human resource and talent strategy.
Policy development and implementation:
Review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current laws and best practices.
Re design and enhance processes from recruitment, onboarding. apprenticeships, people development and wellbeing
Cultural Change Management:
Lead initiatives to drive cultural transformation and foster an inclusive, engaging workplace.
Develop programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Talent Acquisition and Development:
Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.
Implement training and development programs to support employee growth and career advancement.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Performance Management:
Provide coaching and support to managers in performance appraisal processes.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
Develop and maintain HR metrics to track and report on key performance indicators.
Use data-driven insights to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
Ideal Person Spec:
Qualified to CIPD Level 5 or above.
Recent HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
Proven experience in driving cultural change and implementing HR initiatives.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
