Approved Electrician
Hours of Work: Full Time - 37.5 Hours per week with paid overtime available if desired

£30-40K + vehicle + training allowance + uplift for certain days/hours

This role will require working away from home across the UK and is expected around 80% of the year, accommodation is provided and pre-booked in these scenarios. You will need to be comfortable in staying away from home on a regular basis, which will be heavily compensated so there is great earning potential with this role.

You will be working on installations across the oil and gas and nuclear sectors across varied projects within a growing electreical team. There is also a great opportunity here for progression within the role with a training allowance for additional qualifications eg COMPEX.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Qualified Electrician C&G/Apprenticeship/AM2 or Equivalent
• C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Inspection & Testing C&G 2391 or Equivalent
• CCNSG

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

• SHEA Passport - Not essential
• SCO1 & 2 - Not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels
• Ability to travel at short notice including long distance
• Team player
• Willing to work overtime when required including working away from home Monday - Friday
• Awareness of H+S regulations on site

Job specification:

• Ensure quality standards are met
• Ensure safety standards on site are met (H+S /CDM Regulations)
• Perform tasks as instructed by the site supervisor
• Installation of tray work, conduit, trunking
• Installation SWA type cabling at various sizes
• Installation of distribution boards
• Electrical installation in Industrial Environments
