Are You the Business Development Manager We’re Looking For?

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in business development within the facilities management or M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) sectors.
  • Proven track record in developing new business opportunities, particularly in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) projects.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
  • Expertise in creating and executing strategic business development plans.
  • Proficient in sales operations, including managing activity, sales, revenue, and performance.

Desirable:

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar sales software.
  • Experience with ‘hard’ facilities management, air conditioning systems, and commercial gas.

What Will You Be Doing as Business Development Manager?

  • Leading efforts to develop and expand FORTH®'s PPM client base with a hands-on approach, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities for PPM projects.
  • Developing and implementing strategic business development plans to secure new PPM clients.
  • Collaborating directly with the Managing Director to shape the company’s business development strategy for PPM projects.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key clients, ensuring trust and longevity.
  • Overseeing business development operations, including identifying new business opportunities, revenue tracking, and team performance.
  • Providing regular reports and insights to the board, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Mentoring and developing business development team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
