PLC Programmer

Contract Duration: 3 months +

Rate: €negotiable hourly rate

Location: Sweden

Position Overview:

We are hiring for a team of skilled PLC Programmers to support a series of ongoing commissioning, troubleshooting and PLC programming projects across Sweden, Germany and Netherlands. Mainly programming Beckhoff, Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley PLC’s, contributing to the development of control software, and ensuring the successful installation of machines at customer locations across Sweden.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Take the lead in designing and crafting PLC software for complex automation systems, including PLCs, HMI systems, and drives.
• Integration Expert: Facilitate the seamless integration of PLC application software for purchased components such as robots and cameras.
• Commissioning and Optimisation: Oversee the commissioning and optimisation of PLC’s for peak performance.
• Deployment: Play an essential role in the commissioning and troubleshooting of systems

Applicant's Profile:

• Educational Qualifications: Successful candidates will have completed studies in automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or computer science. Alternatively, technical training paired with relevant professional experience is also considered.
• Professional Experience: A strong background in PLC programming with several years of professional experience is essential.
• Programming Proficiency: Profound knowledge of commissioning, supporting, troubleshooting and programming for PLC controls, with a focus on Beckhoff.
• Robotics Aptitude: While not mandatory, knowledge of programming languages for robots (e.g., Kuka, ABB, Stäubli) is highly desirable.
• Technical Competence: Exhibit a good understanding of electronic drive technologies and fieldbus systems.
• Personal Attributes: Demonstrated self-motivation, commitment, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
