Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Rochester

Salary: £13.59 for the first 40 hours (£33,525) Overtime at £16.99 PH

Work Schedule: (5:30 -16:00 x 6 days) +(13:30-00:00 x 6 days) - two 30min unpaid breaks,

Monday is day off.

Connect Personnel are representing a long-standing client who grow the highest quality fruit. They are currently in the market for an experienced machine operator to join their family business. They seek a dedicated Machine Setter to ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. 

As part of our team, you will set up, operate, and maintain machines, focusing on producing high-quality goods while adhering to safety standards.

Job Description

• Loading / unloading containers
• Checking pallets prior to loading
• Loading / unloading stores
• Loading / unloading lorries
• Loading tipper lorries
• Feeding the pack house machinery with fruit bins
• Learn our stock control system – Cirrus (training provided)

Counterbalance Drivers are also expected to:

• Have great attention to detail
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to Management
• To ensure that all employees working within the production areas always adhere to the Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and procedures
