About the Role:

A well-regarded school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher, specializing in Religious Education, to join their team from 24th June. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.

Job Summary:

• Foster a stimulating learning environment.
• Engage with students to deepen their understanding of global cultures and histories.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate interdisciplinary approaches in teaching.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach Humanities subjects according to the curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Religious Education.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Humanities, particularly Religious Education, at the secondary school level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
