Humanities Teacher (Secondary School)

Pay Scale: £170- £200 per day

GSL education is looking for a dedicated individual as Humanities Teacher with a passion for Geography to join our Secondary school community in Sheffield.

Job summary: As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a specific focus on teaching Geography at KS4. You will play a crucial role in helping the students learn and achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Humanities, with a focus on Geography at KS4.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
• Create a positive learning environment and ensure that students adhere to their assignments.
• Offer students assistance and support as needed.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in a relevant Humanities subject, with a strong emphasis on Geography.
• Proven experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4.
• Must have ability to teach Geography at KS4
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
