Position: Senior Site Engineer (Contract - 6 months)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a well-rounded and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general earthworks, exceptional setting out capabilities, and a proven track record of working with tarmac contractors. Experience in supervision, supported by an SSSTC accreditation, is essential. Additionally, it is a significant bonus if you have worked on car park developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing general earthworks and ensuring all activities are conducted to the highest standards.
• Executing precise setting out duties to ensure project specifications are met.
• Collaborating effectively with tarmac contractors to ensure smooth project progression.
• Supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Utilizing your SSSTC accreditation to lead and guide site teams, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
• Managing project timelines, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Reporting on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in general earthworks and setting out.
• Strong background in working with tarmac contractors.
• SSSTC accreditation with demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Previous experience in car park development projects is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: £300.00-£400.00 per day

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Experience:

• Earthworks: 1 year (preferred)
• Setting out: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• SSSTS (preferred)
