The Position: Estimator
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting cost analysis and preparing accurate and timely estimates
- Assessing material, labour and time requirements for projects
- Reviewing architectural plans and preparing quantity take-offs
- Evaluating subcontractor proposals and conducting negotiations
- Regularly reporting to higher management on potential cost overruns and savings
- Has a proven track record in Estimator roles, preferably in social housing or education sector
- Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Boasts a strong knowledge of construction industry trends and practices
- Has a good eye for detail, with strong mathematical and IT skills
- A competitive salary of £90,000 per annum (negotiable on experience)
