Semi-Skilled Technician

We are looking for a Semi-Skilled Technician to join our team, responsible for the reliable and compliant operation of site-wide Manufacturing at our facility. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, safety, and functionality of the site's infrastructure, including office environments, laboratories, and GMP production lines.

Day to Day of the role:

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identifying and addressing any defects, damages, or potential hazards.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules for machinery.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors for repairs, renovations, and installations.
• Respond promptly to reactive calls, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and GMP guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of materials.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance related to machinery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing or facilities management, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Relevant vocational qualifications in maintenance, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing machinery issues.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in pharmaceutical environments.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good administration, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is desirable.
• Certifications in relevant trades are beneficial.
