Job Title: PRU Teaching Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with varying levels of special educational needs.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Plans (BIPs).
• Support the class teacher in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
• Foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere where students feel valued and encouraged.

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a PRU or SEN setting.
• Ability to build rapport with students and support their emotional and educational needs.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations.
• A positive and resilient attitude, with a passion for making a difference.
