Workshop Assistant - Machine Shop
Are you somebody who would enjoy a role assisting in a modern workshop located near Chesham?
This role is ideal for somebody who likes a bit of variation from day to day and is happy to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running and servicing of a busy machine shop.
Responsibilities;
- Maintaining the workshop to a high standard to keep it as safe as possible for the company employees.
- Providing the materials to the machine shop where needed.
- Handling deliveries and dispatch.
- Must be physically fit and prepared to perform manual handling tasks.
- Experience using manual pump trucks or cranes is desired.
- Occasional machine operating or filling in for gaps elsewhere in the factory where required.
Hours for the role are 37.5 hours per week, this can be done on a standard Monday to Friday working week or you can opt for shifts (premium paid on top of basic hourly rate);
AM/PM Shift pattern -
06:00AM - 14:00PM (2 weeks)
14:00PM - 22:00PM (2 weeks)
Overtime is available weekly.
Pay starts at £13p/h 💰
+ shift allowance if shifts are desired
