Junior Workshop Engineer - Job Description
Salary - 18-20k
We are looking for a new member of staff to join our team as a Junior Workshop Engineer. The successful candidate will support our current workshop to ensure all equipment is repaired, tested and suitable for hire. As members of the HAE and SafeHire accredited, all policies and procedures must be adhered to, to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.
Full training will be provided, but we are looking for someone who has in interest in mechanical engineering and working on machinery. In addition, the right person will need to have the ability to work to the fast paced demands of the Hire Industry.
We are a busy team, and the role requires the right person to have a varied skill set as well as the ability to think for themselves. We pride ourselves on our level of customer service and company professionalism, therefore expect every member of staff to work in the same way.
Experience Required:
- An interest in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to work quickly and methodically
- Be willing to learn
- Be reliable
- Good level or written &spoken English
