Shirley Parsons is delighted to announce its partnership with a London-based cleaning company to recruit a Sustainability Manager. Our client, an employee-owned company specializing in corporate and commercial cleaning across London, aims to become the leading supplier driven by a robust sustainability agenda and to be the employer of choice in the industry.

In this role, you will:

  • Enhance your expertise across all sustainability pillars to shape, evolve, and deliver the ESG agenda aligned with the business strategy.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and the wider business with your passion for sustainability and excellent communication skills.
  • Lead projects such as CSR programmes and net-zero initiatives.
  • Advocate for sustainability best practices during site visits.
  • Lead a team of innovative sustainability coordinators and apprentices.
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to develop and present detailed reports.

You’re a good fit if:

  • You have previous experience in Facilities Management, Waste Management, or similar cleaning organisations.
  • You are a subject matter expert in sustainability, covering areas such as carbon management, biodiversity, waste reduction, and CSR.
  • You can build strong relationships at all levels within a business.
  • You are passionate about sustainability and driving positive impact, clearly demonstrating this in your approach.
  • You have people management skills, or if you are an emerging leader with the right credentials and enthusiasm to lead teams effectively.
