Location: The Cotswolds

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

Join a prestigious building contractor in a critical leadership role that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern construction management. We are seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee renovation projects on Listed and Heritage Buildings in The Cotswolds. This position is primarily office-based with regular site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contractual management of multiple renovation projects, ensuring all contractual terms are met and projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring comprehensive compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with project planning, including resource allocation, timeline scheduling, and risk management, to ensure efficient project execution.
• Work on contractual claims, manage disputes, and ensure the resolution of conflicts.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on the status of contracts, including progress, risks, and potential areas of improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry, with a strong background in listed or heritage building renovations and high-end new developments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to manage and resolve complex contractual and management issues.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant technology tools.
