My client is looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to join their manufacturing company based in the Southwest. The company are a world leading manufacturer within their industry and supply a worldwide customer base.

The company has three sites within the Southwest of England, and this position will be based at the Bath site. The role will report directly into the Head of HR/Directors and will be joining an established HR team within the business providing operational support daily.

The main function of the role will be providing proactive operational and strategic HR support to internal stakeholders, working closely with Site Directors and other HRBPS within the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partnering with key business stakeholders to fully understand their business drivers and people requirements.
  • Mentoring HR Advisors, providing coaching and supporting their development.
  • Building and maintaining strong working partnerships with colleagues across the business.
  • Supporting complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally across the business.
  • The development of new and revised HR policies, strategies and initiatives.
  • Evaluate HR data information and advising on mechanisms for improvements.
  • Giving guidance and coaching to management
  • Share knowledge of changes in employment law and processes with colleagues.
  • Co-ordinate training plans in conjunction with Departmental Managers that develop core competencies needed to support the Company's overall objective.
  • Provide advice on human resource issues.
  • Recruitment for the site.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or above
  • Industry experience within Manufacturing/Engineering (preferred)
  • Strong foundation in HR practices and employment legislation.
  • Excellent relationship-building and people skills.
  • Self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

The working hours are 37 hours a week Monday to Friday, with the option to WFH on a Friday if desired.
