Project Analyst

Location: Gloucester (Hybrid so occasional days in the office)
Contract: Inside IR35
Day rate: Up to £300 per day
Duration: End of 2024 (Will most likely extend)
Start date: July (Due to the onboarding process)
Security/Clearance Required: You will require to complete a BPSS which can take 2-3 weeks to complete.
Our client, the UKs largest producer of zero carbon energy, is looking for an experienced Project/Onboarding Analyst to join them on a contract basis. They are currently delivering substantial capital investments, ranging from £5-£20 million per annum, through a diverse portfolio of 30-35 concurrent projects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Project Portfolio Management: Collaborate with the team to manage a diverse portfolio of 30-35 concurrent projects, ensuring seamless delivery of capital investments into the Nuclear operations business.
• As the successful candidate, you will be involved in all aspects of on-boarding / off-boarding for Agency and 3rd party team members, demand planning, agency liaison, internal process adherence, reporting, management and monitoring of key programme and project metrics. You will provide a holistic resource service to the portfolio and support/guidance to the project manager community (in the use of tools/methods).
• You will work closely with other Portfolio Office team members, supporting the Programme Manager in project delivery across the Business unit.
• Ideally you will be experienced in delivering work within a project led environment, and have had exposure to Portfolio Management/Programme Office with an accreditation in one of the following delivery methodologies: Prince 2, APMP or Managing Successful Programmes.
• The ability to prioritise and manage workload under pressure is paramount as the Portfolio Office is extremely busy and fast-paced and needs a Portfolio Analyst that can work in such environments.
• A strong familiarity with project planning tools and methodologies will be beneficial.
