Principal People are working with a market-leading manufacturing organisation, that produces specialist parts for the pharmaceutical, medical devices and automotive industries, to recruit a Quality Engineer to join their quality team.
Reporting to the Quality Manager alongside a team of 8 quality professionals, the successful Quality Engineer will primarily be responsible for performing root cause analysis on non-conformities and the data around those, producing suggestions for corrective and preventative actions.
The successful Quality Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out root cause analysis on non-conformities.
- Suggesting and implementing corrective and preventative actions for non-conformities.
- Communicating across all levels within the organisation to implement corrective and preventative actions as well as drive forward the quality function.
- Carry out scheduled audits in line with industry standards to maintain accreditations.
- Carry out internal audits on company policies and procedures.
- Liaising with customers/clients around product complaints from a quality standpoint.
The successful Quality Engineer will have:
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Food Manufacturing or Automotive industries.
- The ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation effectively as well as with customers/clients.
- Experience carrying out audits in line with specific standards, and maintaining accreditations.
- Experience with calibrations and measuring within manufacturing environments.
