Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) to various job sites. As a Class 2 Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of these essential equipment. If you are a reliable and detail-oriented individual with a passion for driving, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport MEWPs to designated job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
- Secure MEWPs using proper strapping and load restraints
- Collaborate with the operations team to plan scheduled deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional service
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and delivery logs are completed accurately
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 driver's license with no more than 9 points
- Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver or similar role
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of MEWP transportation regulations and guidelines
- Ability to operate and maneuver MEWPs safely ( IPAF preferred but not essential )
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
