As the Director of Operations, you will:

  • Ensure efficient delivery of support services within the hospital.
  • Provide leadership for all non-clinical functions.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Clinical Services on strategic plans.
  • Maximise patient activity and increase revenue.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Support departmental managers in formulating plans and goals.
  • Ensure NHS activity delivery according to RTT 18 week protocols.

The ideal Director of Operations will have:

  • Degree level education or postgraduate leadership and management qualification.
  • Experience in interpreting financial data.
  • Experience in analysis, reporting, and proposal development for capital assets.
  • Commercial contract management experience, including NHS contracts.
  • Knowledge of revenue management systems and processes.
  • Proven ability in driving efficiency and optimisation activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Knowledge of regulations within hospital management.
  • Experience in recruitment, selection, and staff development.
  • At least two years’ experience in a healthcare setting and similar role.
