Our client based in Wokingham is seeking a Sales Administrator to drive sales by generating and converting customer quotations. This is for a 10-month maternity cover.

This role will be operating within an overall team of 25 including sales, marketing, finance and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

The Sales Administrator will be responsible for liaising with customers to identify solutions to their product requirements, providing quotations to customers, in a timely manner, by utilising sales and product knowledge for the preparation of quotes; and for converting the quotes into sales orders. This person will also be responsible for qualifying opportunities and updating records in a CRM and liaising with the wider sales teams.

  • Create and deliver accurate and timely quotation for customers, ensuring all information is complete
  • Interact with suppliers to obtain pricing for special order items
  • Review request for quotes and ensure all necessary information is provided by the customers
  • Work with external sales team to effectively manage the customer's requests
  • Provide accurate and up to date pricing information for all products and services requested
  • Chasing the quotes and converting to sales orders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to all customer inquiries and concerns
  • Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the quoting process.

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Significant experience in customer account management ideally in a B2B environment
  • Technologically astute
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in customer services or quoting role
  • Problem solver with great initiative
  • Good head for numbers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
