Transport Administrator - Bridgwater - Temporary to Permanent
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Transport Ddministrator for their logistics and distribution client in Bridgwater.
Hours of Work
Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 11.00am to 11.00pm between Monday to Friday, 12.00pm to 10.00pm at weekends
Pay
Starting hourly rate of £12.44 an hour which equates to £27,492 per annum, rising to £13.02 which equates to £28,774 per annum when you go onto a permanent contract.
The role
Working closely with the transport management team to manage the administration and communication within logistics, using all Microsoft packages.
Duties will include:
- Book in the stock and allocate it on the system.
- Route planning,
- Dealing with complaints and queries regarding delivery schedule schedules in and out of the depot.
- Book out the dispatched goods.
- Co-ordinate with the supply chain the receiving of deliveries.
- Produce drivers delivery or collection notes.
- Administration of drivers digi tacho cards.
- Recording damaged stock or changes to orders.
- Liaising with suppliers and customers.
- Data entry.
- Assisting with internal and external audits.
