We have a fantastic opportunity to support our client’s Legal team as an experienced Head of Property Management and surveying, ensuring the smooth and efficient management on their properties.

Reporting to the Company Secretary and collaborating with the Finance Team, Retail Team, and Insurance Officer this role is integral to the internal relationships as well as external stakeholders.

About the role:

Responsible for the operational management of the charity's property portfolio. This includes managing shop, office, and warehouse acquisitions, disposals, renewals, lease management, surveying activities, and ensuring the ongoing effectiveness and compliance of the TRAMPS 06ix system.

This role ensures all property-related activities align with legal, regulatory, financial, commercial and the charity’s mission objectives.

About you:

  • Proven track record in property management and surveying, with specific

  • experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector preferred.

  • Strong understanding of legal compliance, financial management, lease

  • negotiations, and property surveying.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing property management systems, ideally

  • TRAMPS 06ix, with a focus on system audits and data accuracy.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in property and lease management, financial oversight, and legal compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strategic relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, resilience, and professionalism in managing disputes and challenges.
  • Extensive experience in property management and surveying, with robust organisational and planning skills, with a strong background in operations of a diverse property portfolio.
  • Ability to support commercial decision making by communicating complex property and legal issues in accessible format
