Location: Darlington
Salary: £32,000.00 + 15% bonus

Various shifts available including
Monday to Friday 06.00 - 14.00 or 14.00 - 22.00 or 22.00 - 06.00am

Summary:
This expanding retail 3PL is looking to recruit a proactive Team Leader to support the Shift Manager within this busy distribution centre. You will need to have proven people management skills and able to mentor team members as well as carry out disciplinary action and investigations whilst delivering operational efficiency and maintaining KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Motivate, coach and develop a team of warehouse colleagues
• Conduct disciplinaries and investigations
• Conduct regular team meetings
• Deliver an effective shift handover to the next team
• Maintaining set KPIs and reporting the status to the Shift Manager
• Drive best Health and Safety practice
• Review and develop warehouse practices to maximise efficiency

Experience:

• Previous supervisory experience and able to lead, develop and discipline a team
• Sound knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Previous experience from within a distribution environment
• Excellent analytical skills
• Thorough understanding of cost management and reports
