FinTech RS are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for our client based near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. This is a permanent, full time position, with flexible and hybrid working available.
Providing support to the Finance team, the role will focus primarily on Sales Ledger processing, assisting in other areas where needed.
Main duties include:
- Raising sales invoices, matching with Purchase Orders
- Updating Forecasting trackers when invoices are raised to ensure accuracy
- Assist with Credit Control, requesting status updates on payments, and helping to resolve any issues or queries.
- Posting of all bank receipts, payments and transfers onto the system.
- Assisting with other Finance support duties as required, including cover for Purchase Ledger team, year-end auditing, and any other duties as requested
Suitable candidates should have the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with accounting software, and competent use of Excel
- Positive approach, with ability to work on own initiative and a keen attention to detail
