Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next career move? We have an excellent opportunity to join a global leader in industrial automation, they’re on the lookout for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to enhance their team in Runcorn.

Reporting to the Operational Support Team Leader, the candidate will provide Cost Management services on National Gas projects ranging from £500k to £20m, ensuring the businesses financial interests are protected.

Key Responsibilities: Quantity Surveyor

- Collaborate with Project Managers to achieve financial targets.

- Identify and mitigate project risks.

- Develop relationships with clients and suppliers.

- Provide accurate project reporting.

- Prepare valuations and finalise accounts agreements.

- Lead commercial management of multiple sites.

- Handle contract variations and final account negotiations.

- Offer expertise on contract terms and conditions.

- Support proposal teams with pricing and estimates.

- Resolve commercial issues with clients.

- Attend site meetings and contribute to project reviews.

 

Key Requirements: Quantity Surveyor

- Minimum HNC/HND/Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying.

- Experience in Quantity Surveying within Construction, Design, and Management projects.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Health & Safety regulations.

- Ability to commercially manage multiple small projects or one project up to £10 Million.

- Familiarity with NEC contracts.

- Experience with Gas Network Transmission projects would be advantageous.

- Hold a full UK driving license.
