Accelerate Teaching is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Teacher of Science to join a thriving secondary school in Bradford. This dynamic role is set to commence in September 2024, and we are seeking a passionate individual with the experience and drive to inspire the next generation of scientists.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Engaging Lessons: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Student Development: Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and progress.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Monitor and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the science curriculum.
  • Pastoral Care: Offer guidance and support to students, nurturing their academic and personal development.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest educational practices and advancements in science education.


What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential qualification to teach in a UK secondary school.
  • Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge and passion for science, with the ability to teach across various scientific disciplines.
  • Experience: Proven track record of teaching science at secondary level, with demonstrable success in raising student attainment.
  • Inspirational Teaching Style: Ability to engage and motivate students, making science accessible and enjoyable.
